Paris Saint-Germain isn’t the only club battling injuries heading into the crucial must-win UEFA Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund. The German side will also be without key players in their squad.
Left-back Julian Ryerson has undergone a severe knee injury that will keep him out for a while. This setback is a massive blow for Dortmund, as he is the club’s best full-back and can play on both sides of the pitch.
On the left flank, Ryerson should be replaced with Ramy Bensebaïni. However, the Algerian has been suffering from several health problems lately and hasn’t played much.

Julian Ryerson isn’t the only injured defender for Dortmund
Ryerson’s absence also comes at a terrible time. On the other hand, right-back Marius Wolf, who suffered an injury against Stuttgart this week, is also doubtful about the RB Leipzig clash this weekend. Nonetheless, Wolf should be fit for the match against PSG.
The only alternative is Thomas Meunier, but the Belgian is not qualified for the Champions League. In the worst-case scenario, Edin Terzić could also use Niklas Süle on the right, but the German has just spent eleven days in the infirmary with an illness.
