Barcelona’s Financial Struggle Benefits PSG in Pursuit of €60M Wonderkid

Paris Saint-Germain is one of the top European clubs vying to land Palmeiras’ Estevao Willian. The Brazilian club wants to follow a similar path as they did with Endrick and have a sale for 16-year-old ready.

Willian will not be able to leave until the summer of 2025, but that isn’t stopping clubs from pushing to land the wonderkid. However, PSG could have one less competitor for Willian.

Mundo Deportivo reports that although the player’s dream is to wear FC Barcelona’s colors, the Spanish side’s economic situation is preventing them from taking any action, causing the player to reconsider his future.

Given the pressure that big teams like PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City are exerting for “Messinho,” willing to pay his clause of €60 million, Palmeiras wants the player to start making up his mind.

The player’s father had the opportunity to travel to Europe and learn first-hand about the sporting proposals of some interested parties. The Barcelona option, like his son, was the one that attracted him the most, but the indecision from the Catalan side makes his signing increasingly tricky.
