PSG Projected Starting XI vs. Rennes: Luis Enrique Rolls Out New Formation?

Paris Saint-Germain will look to get back to their winning ways when the capital club faces Stade Rennais on Sunday at Roazhon Park. Manager Luis Enrique’s experiments will continue heading into this contest.

According to Le Parisien, the Spanish manager will roll out with a 4-2-3-1 tactical formation. After having a 4-2-4 formation in the lopsided loss to Newcastle United, Enrique likely wants to find the right system that can take the team to the next level.

So, who will be in the starting 11 against Rennes? At the goalkeeper position, Gianluigi Donnarumma remains between the pipes. Then, in the backline, Acraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Milan Skriniar, and Lucas Hernandez will make up PSG’s defense.

The 53-year-old manager will send out two midfielders, Manuel Ugarte and Warren Zaïre-Emery. As for who will be the No. 10, that responsibility will go to Ousmane Dembélé, who moves from the wing to behind the striker.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappé and Bradley Barcloa will occupy the wing positions, with Gonçalo Ramos occupying the striker position.
