How Kang-in Lee is Navigating Life at PSG: Revealed

When Paris Saint-Germain paid RCD Mallorca €22 million this past summer transfer window for Kang-in Lee, they were betting on a player whose potential is trending upward. However, the capital club is getting much more.

Le Parisien revealed behind-the-scenes details on the 22-year-old’s integration into the squad. After dealing with an injury and returning with a gold medal from the 2023 Asian Games, the South Korean scored his first goal with PSG in the 3-0 win over AC Milan.

The French media outlet notes that Luis Enrique privately praises Lee’s sense of teamwork, his technical finesse, his understanding of the game, and his very valuable versatility.

Lee also differs from the type who takes it easy during training or matches. He consistently demonstrates his desire to do well. Additionally, an insider in the PSG dressing room revealed what Lee is like with his teammates.

“He is a jovial person, far from being introverted, and who does not go unnoticed in the group,” the insider told Le Parisien. “As soon as he arrived, he was able to build real relationships with his teammates. He quickly blended into the team.”

Lee now hopes that the UEFA Champions League goal against AC Milan is what kickstarts an excellent run in form because the potential is there for him to be a difference-maker for PSG this 2023-24 season.
