Kylian Mbappé and the French national team picked up a 2-0 win over Ireland on Matchday 5 of the 2024 UEFA Euro on Thursday at the Parc des Princes. However, while the Irish fans didn’t get to celebrate a goal, their trolling made up for it.
The Irish fans in attendance decided to bring in a Lionel Messi jersey to troll the home crowd and Les Bleus. As many know, Argentina’s win in penalty kicks prevented Mbappé and Co. from winning back-to-back World Cups.
IRISH FANS TROLL 🇫🇷 FANS WITH MESSI KIT 🇮🇪👕🇦🇷😂 Despite losing 2-0, Ireland supporters have a laugh by holding up famous No. 10 Argentina shirt to remind French fans at Parc des Princes who won 2022 World Cup Final. Should have packed Inter Miami kit to get at PSG fans too 😉 pic.twitter.com/ealXCRFAsO
