Revealed: How Much Real Madrid Must Pay to End Kylian Mbappé Transfer Saga

The future of Kylian Mbappé remains a topic of discussion regarding whether Real Madrid will put in a last-minute bid for the 24-year-old. The summer transfer window closes on Sept. 1, and the moment is now whether the Spanish club wants the Frenchman.

Once the Paris Saint-Germain player chose not to trigger the option to extend his contract until 2025, the saga began. All eyes turned to the La Liga side as they had a clear path to finally land the forward.

However, the situation is a little cloudy with Mbappé returning to first-team training and now playing for PSG. Nonetheless, Andrés Onrubia of Diario AS reports that there’s a sum that Los Blancos must pay if they want Mbappé this summer.

According to the Spanish journalist, the saga will be over if Real Madrid pays €250 million for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. Still, that amount is below what the Merengue club might make to the Ligue 1 club.

Sky Sports recently reported that Real Madrid will offer €120 million for the Frenchman. Furthermore, the report reveals that the bid will be made on August 29 or 30.

Regardless, PSG is reportedly not expecting an offer from Real Madrid in the next two weeks. So it should be a rollercoaster ride these next few days and afterward to see what the player eventually decides regarding his future.
