New Contract? PSG Looks to Extend This Young Jewel, Avoid Losing Him – Report

Despite being 17 years old, Warren Zaïre-Emery is quickly developing into a regular starter at Paris Saint-Germain. Furthermore, the capital club understands what type of budding star they have on their hands.

Zaïre-Emery is under contract until 2025, so there’s no doubt that European clubs are keeping an eye on where PSG can keep their midfielder. In the past, youth players have left the capital club for greener pastures, but the Ligue 1 giants hope this isn’t the case.

Sports Zone reports that Zaïre-Emery wants to stay at PSG, with talks about an extension progressing positively. The Parisians are calm and looking to close this file quickly.

Expect the young player to continue gaining confidence under new manager Luis Enrique. Emery has played in the UEFA Champions League already, but this 2023-24 will see him as a critical starter in the squad.

Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see the contract the capital club decides to hand the Frenchman and whether it will be a long- or short-term deal.
