There are only a few days until the summer transfer window closes on Sept.1. As a result, the Kylian Mbappé transfer saga could have a temporary solution regarding the player’s future.
Rumors of Mbappé leaving PSG for Real Madrid have circulated for months. Speculation of a departure began this summer after the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner chose not to extend his contract until 2025.
Andrés Onrubia of Diario AS reports that the 24-year-old will only be allowed to leave if he expresses his desire to do so in the next few days. Furthermore, the French club demands €250 million in cash for Mbappé’s services.
It’s unlikely that PSG will let go of Mbappé now that he has returned to training with the first-team this week. Additionally, the center of the project now belongs to the Frenchman since Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. left the club.
Still, if anyone expects a late bid from Real Madrid, don’t count on it. According to El Chiringuito host Josep Pedrerol, Real Madrid has no plans to pay PSG anything for their superstar.
As a result, it will be interesting to see how the entire saga plays out and the end game for Mbappé.
