Since last summer, Paris Saint-Germain has been genuinely interested in Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. In the previous 12 months, there have been rumors regarding the England international and the French giants.
However, CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs revealed on Monday that the likelihood of a successful transfer appears low. Rashford is expected to sign a new deal with Manchester United to remain part of their future.
The PSG interest in Marcus Rashford is genuine and dates back to last summer. But the likelihood remains Rashford will sign a new #MUFC deal. PSG know this and have low confidence of success should they chose to move. They are not actively working on Rashford.🔴 pic.twitter.com/wFu5gn29px

Jacobs adds that the Ligue 1 side is aware of the new contract and s not actively pursuing a move. Rashford’s loyalty to Manchester United appears to be a critical factor in the diminishing prospect of a move to PSG.
The capital club could be in the market this summer to replace Kylian Mbappé. The 24-year-old could be exiting this summer, and PSG must figure out how to replace his production.
Even so, it won’t be Rashford who will be coming to the French side. PSG will likely redirect their attention and resources toward other potential signings to strengthen the squad.
