No Real Madrid? Kylian Mbappé to Remain at PSG for 2023-24 Season – Report

The Kylian Mbappé transfer saga took another turn Monday. RMC Sport journalist Daniel Riolo dropped a bombshell report regarding the 24-year-old’s future.

Riolo stated on After Foot RMC that Mbappé will remain at Paris Saint-Germain for the upcoming 2023-24 season. As a result, his reporting dismisses speculations of a move to Real Madrid this summer.

“Do Leonardo’s shots teach us anything? […] Of course, it’s an order,” Riolo said on RMC Sport. “They take us for idiots with their communication battle at PSG. I really want them to make Mbappé look like the big bad wolf. No problem. They put themselves in [this mess] with their contract situation; Mbappé reacted, today is arm wrestling.

“But I’m announcing something to you this evening: Mbappé will be at PSG next season. Is this news? Yes. […] Even if [PSG] assumes until the end and puts Mbappé on the bench, Mbappé stays at PSG. Mbappé stays at PSG. He is ready to accept this situation.”

If Riolo’s reporting is accurate, the French forward could leave PSG as a free agent next summer. With the possibility of Mbappé staying at PSG for the upcoming campaign, there are implications for the French club.

With only a year remaining on his contract after the 2023-24 season, PSG may lose their prized asset without receiving a transfer fee next summer. The delay in a potential move to Real Madrid prolongs the uncertainty surrounding Mbappé’s future.

As a result, more rumors will fuel the surrounding of his likely free agency. The coming months will likely see intense speculation and debates about the destination of one of football’s most exciting talents.
