Lionel Messi is now fully focused on analyzing his future after his tenure with Paris Saint-Germain ended with a 3-2 loss to Clermont Foot on Saturday at the Parc des Princes.
Messi’s agent and father, Jorge, met with FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta to discuss the possibility of a return.
Furthermore, Spanish journalist Gerard Romero reported the emotions inside the Argentine’s entourage. Romero noted that Messi’s camp wants a guarantee that Barcelona can register him.
As a result, departures at the Spanish club are needed, which is why the Catalan side likely asked Messi to stay patient because transfers don’t happen overnight.

The 35-year-old wants to settle his future and Barcelona will reportedly get the green light on their financial package. As a result, it’s likely the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner whether he wants to take the gamble and wait, which he did in 2021.
Outside of Barcelona, Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal and MLS’ Inter Miami are possible destinations. If the soon-to-be former PSG wants the matter resolved, then he might have to continue his career not in Europe.
