AC Milan will face archrival Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League semifinals. The first leg will occur on Wednesday at the San Siro, but before the contest happens, AC Milan man Rafael Leaõ is thinking about the future.
The 23-year-old spoke with RMC Sport (h/t Paris Fans), where Leaõ invited Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé to join the Serie A side in the future. Leaõ claims that the 24-year-old is a fan of Rossoneri.
“He’s the best player I’ve met,” Leaõ told the French media outlet. “He is already a fan of the Rossoneri; he should come to Milan!”
There’s no question that AC Milan would love to have Mbappé, as would the majority of the top clubs across Europe, but for now, the France international is tied down to PSG until 2025.
PSG is attempting to build a squad around their superstar forward that will allow him to get back to a Champions League final. The capital club came close to winning the trophy in 2020 but fell to Bayern Munich.
Now sporting advisor Luis Campos is tasked with building a Champions League contender. The Portuguese club chief plots to make swift changes, but only time will tell if he’s making the right ones.
