Paris Saint-Germain appears ready to splurge on a striker this summer and one of the noticeable reported targets is Tottenham Hotspur goal scorer Harry Kane.
Kane won’t be playing UEFA Champions League football for the 2023-24 season, which has begun rumors of a possible departure. At 29 years old, the England international has a few years left in his prime.
As a result, PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos might be using that to lure Kane away from north London. Foot Mercato reported on Tuesday that the club chief recently met with Kane’s entourage to test the waters about a possible departure from Spurs.
Kane isn’t the only target Campos has to fill the striker role at PSG. The capital club has its eyes on bringing Victor Osimhen back to Ligue 1; however, the competition for the 24-year-old will be challenging.
The French media outlet adds that the Osimhen file looks all the more complicated as the player has not made a return to Ligue 1 a priority. Instead, Osimhen has reportedly preferred a move to the Premier League, which puts PSG at a disadvantage.
Additionally, the cost for the striker will be astronomical as Napoli reportedly wants €150 million for their star player.
