PSG Monitoring Real Madrid’s Vinícius Junior Situation After Alleged Racial Abuse – Report

Real Madrid forward Vinícius Junior was the victim of alleged racial abuse by a fan during the 1-0 loss to Valencia on Sunday at Mestalla Stadium.

The Brazilian has seen a wave of support as he calls out La Liga and the country of Spain for the number of slurs aimed his way by opposing fans that the forward notes aren’t an isolated incident.

As a result, SPORT reported on Monday PSG is very attentive to his situation and if the 22-year-old really puts himself on the market, they will go for everything to sign him.

“It wasn’t the first time, nor the second, nor the third,” Vinícius wrote on Twitter. “Racism is normal in La Liga. The competition thinks it’s normal, the Federation does too and the opponents encourage it. I’m so sorry. The championship that once belonged to Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Cristiano and Messi today belongs to racists.

“A beautiful nation, which welcomed me and which I love, but which agreed to export the image of a racist country to the world. I’m sorry for the Spaniards who don’t agree, but today, in Brazil, Spain is known as a country of racists. And unfortunately, for everything that happens each week, I have no defense. I agree. But I am strong and I will go to the end against racists. Even if far from here.”

In Paris, they reportedly continue to see Vinícius as a strategic signing and would be willing to do anything. However, GOAL España debunks the rumors as their reporting reveals that the forward loves Real Madrid.

Vinícius is under contract at Real Madrid until 2027, so unless he feels the situation with La Liga is not repairable, then perhaps PSG might be in the mix for a potential move.
