PSG Breaks Silence After Group of Club Supporters Hurled Insults at Messi, Neymar

Paris Saint-Germain has condemned the actions of a group of club supporters after they hurled insults at Lionel Messi, Neymar, and also manager Christophe Galtier.

Dozens of PSG ultras gathered outside the club’s headquarters on Wednesday to unleash their frustrations on the club toward the likes of Messi, Neymar, and Galtier.

A small group of PSG ultras later protested outside Neymar’s home, and they called for the Brazilian forward to leave the club.

PSG released a press release on Wednesday, condemning the actions of such supporters on the day.

“Paris Saint-Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday,” the statement read.

“Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions. The Club gives its full support to its players, its staff, and all those targeted by such shameful behaviour.”

PSG has a mere two home matches left on its Ligue 1 schedule, and it will return to the Parc des Princes on May 13 for a matchup against AC Ajaccio.
