Four Players Barcelona Will Offload to Secure Objective of Signing Messi – Report

Lionel Messi will become a free agent in June when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June. However, despite reportedly being dealt a financial blow, FC Barcelona is keen on a reunion.

MARCA reported on Monday that Barcelona is working on four transfers, with the grand objective being Messi. The Spanish media outlet notes that the Catalan side needs enough space in the salary mass to bring him and they believe they can get it.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup winner is aware of this interest, which he sees favorably, although he still has to present the final financial offer and, above all, explain the club’s sports project. An option that, to this day, is still very complicated.

If Barcelona wants to reunite with Miess and make four new signings, they’ll need to offload players to balance the books.

MARCA reveals that the candidates to leave this summer are Franck Kessie, Eric Garcia, and to a lesser extent, Ferran Torres could also be out. Another name that could be heading on the way out is Ansu Fati.

Currently, it’s all reporting, but in a few weeks, especially as the transfer window opens, the situation will become clearer whether Messi’s return is a reality.
