Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti sees his name in the rumor mill as a possible departure this summer transfer window. However, it appears the 30-year-old wants to remain with the French giants.
Le Parisien reported on Monday that Verratti’s priority is to stay at PSG. The information notes several clubs have inquired about the situation of the Italian, including Manchester City.
PSG supporters have protested in front of the Ligue 1 side’s offices and one of the names chanted that had to leave in their eyes is Verratti.

After Marquinhos signed his contract extension and the club announced the agreement last Friday, the defender noted his desire to win at PSG. The defender, like Verratti, has been close to winning the UEFA Champions League in 2020 as they lost in the final.
So it comes maybe as no surprise that Verratti might share that same belief knowing how long he’s been in Paris and how close they have been in wanting to win the competition.
