One of the main storylines in the world of the transfer market as of late has centered on the rumors linking Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva to Paris Saint-Germain. For Silva, PSG is reportedly a “destination that he likes a lot.”
Silva starred for Manchester City in the second leg of its UEFA Champions League semifinal tie against Real Madrid. The Portuguese midfielder scored a pair of goals in the first half, and he had the last laugh against Real Madrid left-back Eduardo Camavinga out on the right flanks.
Silva spoke to Canal+ after the match, and he was asked (via RMC Sport) about his future at Manchester City. Silva, who has two more years left on his contract with the current Premier League leaders, kept it simple with his response to the question.
“The program is to finish the season well, win the Premier League, try against United in the FA Cup final, and then Inter,” Silva said. “After that, this summer, we’ll see what happens.”
Silva now has his sights set on Manchester City’s remaining five matches this season, including its showdown with Inter Milan in the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final. PSG club officials sure will tune into this contest to keep a close watch on the Portuguese international.
