Serie A: PSG Reportedly Monitoring Inter Milan’s Defender Who Refuses Contract Extension

Paris Saint-Germain needs to improve its central defense. With only a handful of days left until the January transfer window closes, the capital club is reportedly ready to move for Milan Skriniar.

Skriniar has yet to extend his contract with Inter Milan and with six months left until he can exit the Serie A side as a free agent, the Italian side might have to consider selling.

Relevo’s Matteo Moretto reported on Friday that PSG is the most attentive team observing the situation. Moretto added Sky Sports Italia’s report that the Slovakian defender, for the moment, is not willing to extend.

Inter Milan will have a decision to make in the next few days. If Skriniar doesn’t want to extend his contract with the Italian club, Inter Milan might have to sell and recoup whatever small fee they can or let him leave for nothing.

PSG played the patient game with Skriniar, who they were linked to this past summer transfer window, and now they can get the 27-year-old at a fraction of what they were willing to pay.
