Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi once again filled his trophy cabinet, as he won the IFFHS Men’s World Best Playmaker 2022 award.
The Argentine forward garnered 170 points for the award, and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Madrid came in second place with 115 points.
Overall, Messi also broke a tie with former Barcelona midfielder Xavi for the most IFFHS Men’s World Best Playmaker award wins with five.
