There was a new twist in the future of Lionel Messi as a recent report suggested that the 35-year-old wouldn’t extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. Messi will become a free agent in June and has yet to determine where he’ll play next season.
Spanish journalist Gerard Romero reported on Monday that the Argentine isn’t set on remaining in Paris. However, he was later debunked by various other reports. Since then, there’s been even more information coming on Messi’s future.
Transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that the Messi situation has not changed. New meetings will take place soon with PSG to discuss the length of the new contract and then get it signed.
