FC Barcelona was given a score in their Copa del Rey Round of 32 matchup against CF Intercity, which plays in the third tier of Spanish football.
The Catalan side won 4-3 in extra time on Wednesday at the Estadio José Rico Pérez, with Ansu Fati saving the team from an embarrassing loss. However, Inter City’s Oriol Soldevila made history with his performance, as he can now be mentioned alongside Kylian Mbappe in an interesting stat.
FIFA World Cup Stats on Twitter noted that after scoring a hat-trick against Barcelona and nearly pulling off the upset, Soldevila is now the 1st player after PSG’s Mbappe in Feb. 2021 to net three goals against Barcelona.

Soldevila and Mbappe now share a state considering their hat tricks are next to each other. Furthermore, both achievements are special to both players as Mbappe’s three goals came at the Camp Nou and Soldevila is a graduate of Barcelona’s youth academy, La Masia.
