Croatia has had no answer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi in their 2022 FIFA World Cup Semifinal round matchup.
Messi recorded his second assist of the 2022 World Cup knockout stage, as he dished off a key pass over to Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez inside the penalty box in the second half of the contest.
Croatia center-back Josko Gvardiol was matched up with Messi in this goal sequence, and he failed to even get a touch on the ball as the PSG star waltzed inside the penalty box to create separation away from the RB Leipzig defender.
