Lionel Messi’s stint in Qatar was a memorable one for the 35-year-old as it culminated with him winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final when Argentina defeated France in penalty kicks (4-2).
While many moments will be immortalized from Messi winning the World Cup, one of the unique items will be the room the Argentine stayed in during the tournament, which was located at Qatar University in Doha.
The Peninsula of Qatar announced Tuesday that the two single beds lined up facing a narrow desk, with wheeled armchairs and a flat-screen, a gray sofa with yellow cushions and thick curtains would become a mini-museum in the coming weeks.
