Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi and Kylian Mbappe had to put their friendship aside for 90 minutes during the 2022 FIFA World Cup semifinal matchup between France and Morocco.
However, Hakimi and Mbappe shared a couple of heartwarming moments once the game went final. The first being the two PSG teammates exchanged jerseys and then the France international was caught sharing a moment with the Moroccan defender.
While Mbappe came out on top, he wanted to be there for his friend and ensure that what occurred on the pitch stayed there.
