The attention has now turned to Monday’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw after the completion of the group stage on Wednesday. There are multiple showdowns that could be drawn for the round of 16, including Group G winners Manchester City squaring off with the runner-up of Group H in Paris Saint-Germain.
For Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, he does not have a preference on which team he would like his squad to meet in the Champions League round of 16.
When asked during a press conference following Manchester City’s 3-1 win over Sevilla on Wednesday if he cares about which team the reigning Premier League champions will draw on Monday — even if it ends up being PSG — he continued to repeat the same four words.
🗣 "Do you care who you draw in the next round?"
Pep 🗣 "We will be there."
🗣 "Do you care though?"
Pep 🗣 "We will be there."
🗣 "PSG?"
Pep 🗣 "We will be there."
