The Argentina national team prevailed with a much-needed 2-0 win over Mexico on matchday two of the 2022 FIFA World Cup group stage. Goals from Lionel Messi and Enzo Fernandez were all that the reigning Copa America champions would need against Mexico on the day.
It was all smiles for Messi and company in the locker room after the game, as they all celebrated the crucial win over Mexico.
