Paris Saint-Germain won a thriller over Troyes on Ligue 1 matchday 13, and as expected, Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe led the way in the attack for the reigning France top-flight champions.
PSG’s star-studded attacking trio chipped in with a goal contribution in all four of the side’s goals in the match, including Mbappe’s penalty score in the second half that provided the Ligue 1 powerhouse with a 4-2 lead. For PSG midfielder Vitinha, as he told Prime Video Sport France after the match, he was left in awe of the attacking showings from the three star forwards.
“I’ve said it a little bit before, but it’s a great pleasure,” Vitinha said. “I’m in the front row to see things I’ve never been to before. I’m just continuing to learn from them and work. I’m learning for the future and enjoying it because they’re doing amazing things for us, for the team.”
Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe were all unselfish when on the ball against Troyes; they combined to create seven goal-scoring chances for teammates in the contest.
Next up for PSG will be its UEFA Champions League away group stage fixture against Serie A side Juventus
