Paris Saint-Germain has been linked to Manchester City midfielder/forward Bernardo Silva over the last few weeks. The interest is no surprise since sporting advisor Luis Campos had the player while at AS Monaco.
The 28-year-old is also drawing interest from FC Barcelona. Still, it seems with only a few days left until the summer transfer window closes, the Portuguese international will remain with the Premier League club.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola spoke with reporters on Friday, expressing his desire to see Silva stay when asked about the future.
“He’s our player,” Guardiola said. “And he knows our wishes as a club, as a manager, even his mates. What is going to happen? I don’t know.
“You want him to stay? I said many times, yeah.”

L’Equipe recently reported that pursuit of Silva would be challenging for PSG, despite their interest in the player, so Manchester City might have a sigh of relief there.
