Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luis Campos reportedly wants at least three more signings before the summer transfer window closes. One is a midfielder, which might explain the recent information linking them to Bernardo Silva.

Tiempo de Juego (via Canal Supporters) confirms the report that the French giants are indeed eyeing the Manchester City star, who is linked to FC Barcelona. However, the Spanish club has yet to secure a transfer for the 27-year-old.

There’s no further information regarding the price, or the level of interest PSG has in the attacking midfielder. A transfer won’t be cheap, considering Trasfermarkt values Silva at €80 million.

Campos has a relationship with Silva when the two were together at AS Monaco and won Ligue 1 in 2016-17, leading to his move to the Premier League. Furthermore, the Portugal international also played with Kylian Mbappé, so there is chemistry there.

Silva still has three more years left on his current contract, so Manchester City isn’t in a position where they need to sell, but after five years with the English side, perhaps the forward might be looking for a new challenge.
