Report: PSG, Napoli Star Agree to Terms As Man United Miss Out on Target

Paris Saint-Germain is nearing their third addition to the midfield. On Sunday, reports surfaced linking the capital club to Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz. Now it seems like the French giants have agreed to personal terms with the player.

Italian media publication Il Mattino (via Canal Supporters) reports that Ruiz has given the green light to join PSG. As part of the transfer, the 26-year-old will sign a four-year and will have an annual salary of €5 million.

Now the French giants will turn their attention to discussing a fee with Napoli, and the information from the outlet suggests that the Ligue side wants €25 million. Meanwhile, the Serie A club expects €30 million.

Ruiz has to exit Napoli considering the Spain international has one more year left on his contract, and this will be the last window the Italian club can secure a transfer fee rather than losing him for free.

PSG isn’t the only club linked to Ruiz as Manchester United, who eyes Frenkie de Jong alternatives this summer, is reportedly in the midfielder’s mix. However, it appears the 26-year-old is Paris bound.
