Paris Saint-Germain has yet to finalize the transfer for Napoli midfielder Fabián Ruiz. Since the initial report regarding the Spain international agreeing to personal terms with the capital club, the deal has yet to come official.
However, it seems the Italian club wants to push the transfer over the line if the French giants include a player that the Serie A side is eyeing. On Friday, Gazetta dello Sport reported that Napoli could lower its asking price if PSG incorporated goalkeeper Keylor Navas in the deal.
If PSG could help cover some of Navas’ salary, Napoli would put the fee demand for Ruiz at 20 million. The Italian media outlet claims that these potential deals are independent but could be used to ensure both get done.
Pending his possible club change, Navas is not among the players called to make the trip to Lille this Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Serie A club hopes to obtain a number one goalkeeper with great charisma to give Napoli the international experience necessary to succeed in the UEFA Champions League and a starting place in the league.
