Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes appears to be one of the players that the capital club is okay with departing this summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old has become a rotational player following the arrivals of Vitinha and Renato Sanches, with the discussion of another midfielder coming into the fold before the Sept. 1 deadline.

Paredes was recently linked to Liverpool, but TyC Sports’ Gastón Edul reported on Tuesday that, for now, there was no communication between Liverpool and Paredes.

Furthermore, the Argentine journalist added that the chance for Paredes to go to Juventus is not yet entirely lost. The player had decided to go to Italy and has recently stagnated.

The Serie A side could not offload midfielder Adrien Rabiot to make room for Paredes. Now that the file has slowed down, it will be interesting to see whether Juventus returns if they cannot part ways with the France international.

Paredes does have a market and is under contract until 2024, so PSG might not be willing to let the midfielder exit for any price.
