Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was recently linked to Paris Saint-Germain. Although The Red Devils are going through a rough patch to start the 2022-23 Premier League season, the England international has no plans on leaving.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Rashford remains fully committed to the English side despite the rumors and the two straight losses to kick off their campaign.
“100 percent. For me, that’s a non-negotiable,” Rashford said. “The one thing that remains the same is your dedication and your commitment to training and the games. I feel like whatever the situation is I have to give 100 percent for myself, family, friends, and the fans.”
When asked further about whether the 24-year-old wants to spend his entire career at Old Trafford, Rashford wants to stay as long as ‘possible’ with his boyhood club.
“For me, I have always wanted to be at Manchester United for as long as possible and be competing for trophies at the club,” Rashford said. “Hopefully, we can get back to doing that, and it’s something that I’m definitely pushing to do.”
PSG does want to add another forward to go along with the addition of Hugo Ekitike, who arrived from Stade de Reims. The capital club plans to rotate players, especially this winter when the FIFA World Cup comes around.
Nonetheless, if Rashford is committed to remaining at Manchester United, then the French giants will have to look elsewhere for more forward depth.
