Kevin De Bruyne Makes Bold Claim on the Future of Barcelona, PSG Transfer Target

Paris Saint-Germain is in the market for a forward before the summer transfer window closes on Sept. 1. One of the targets connected to the capital club is Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva, who is also linked to FC Barcelona.

Sporting advisor Luis Campos has a relationship with the 27-year-old, considering the Portuguese club chief had the Manchester City star at AS Monaco and now hopes for a possible reunion.

However, teammate Kevin De Bruyne isn’t concerned regarding the reports. The Belgium international spoke with reporters, where GOAL relayed his remarks, saying he expects Silva to remain with the Premier League side.

“He knows, I think he’s very loved,” De Bruyne told reporters. “The way that I see it, I think that he will be here, so there’s nothing that I’m worried about.”

Only a couple of weeks are left until the transfer window closes, and PSG is keen on adding another forward to go along with the addition of Hugo Ekitike.

With Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and Neymar Jr. participating in the FIFA World Cup, there will be plenty of rotation leading up to the tournament in November.
