Juventus is still aiming to revamp its midfield over the ongoing summer transfer window, and it reportedly remains interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain talent Leandro Paredes.
According to a report from Tuttosport, Paredes is not deemed to be “untouchable” at PSG.
Juventus remains an interested suitor in Paredes, but before it can push to complete a transfer deal for him, it would need to find new homes for midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Arthur.
Tuttosport speculates that a contract termination agreement between Ramsey and Juventus club officials could be one possible solution to this matter. On the other hand, Juventus is also open to offers for Arthur, who has been linked with AS Roma.
Until Juventus can find a way to offload both Ramsey and Arthur, the Serie A side will remain on the sidelines in the Paredes sweepstakes.
For now, Paredes is currently set to take part in PSG’s upcoming preseason schedule, which includes three friendly fixtures against J1 League sides.
