West Ham United has already secured one Paris Saint-Germain target, and now they’re ready to grab a player from the capital club’s squad. Abdou Diallo appears to be a name on the move, and The Hammers have their eyes on the Senegal international.
Media Foot reported Wednesday that the Premier League side is one of the clubs hoping to land the 26-year-old. There’s no further detail to the extent of West Ham’s interest, but the price PSG wants for the defender is known.
The report says that the current Ligue 1 champions want at least €20 million for Diallo. Along with the English club, other teams are interested, such as Napoli and Stade Rennais, so there’s a market for the former Borussia Dortmund player.
It will be interesting to see which side decides to pay the asking price that the French giants want to let go of Diallo. He likely wants a more prominent role, considering the central defense could become crowded if PSG secures the deal for Inter Milan defender Milan Škriniar.
