Juventus has been heavily linked with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes for much of the ongoing summer transfer window. Now, there could finally soon be a resolution to this transfer matter.
As noted by TyC Sports, Juventus has already opened up negotiations to bring in Paredes.
Juventus club officials and Paredes’s entourage are both “optimistic” that the Argentine midfielder will soon take his talents to the Serie A powerhouse. More so, there is a belief that such a transfer move could very well be finalized by next week.
PSG has reportedly placed a €20 million price demand on Paredes, although it is not yet known whether the reigning Ligue 1 champions would be open to negotiating on such a transfer deal.
Paredes is coming off of a Ligue 1 campaign with PSG where he featured in a mere 15 total matches, as multiple injuries wound up taking him out of action. He currently has two more seasons remaining on his current contract deal with PSG.
