PSG’s €15M Rated Talent Reportedly Gives Green Light for Juventus Transfer

The future of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes remains up in the air as the 28-year-old continues to draw interest from Juventus. The Argentine is under contract until 2024, so the capital club doesn’t need to sell.

Nonetheless, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that it would like to secure Paredes from the French giants through a loan agreement. However, there’s a disagreement on the type of deal both sides want.

According to the Italian media outlet, Juventus wants a loan deal for the midfielder; however, PSG wants to insert an obligation to buy clause that would see the Turin side pay €15 million for the Argentine.

Paredes has reportedly given the green light on a possible move to The Old Lady as it would see him reunite with his former teammate on the capital club, Ángel Di María.

Furthermore, Paredes is familiar with Serie A since he spent time with AS Roma, Chievo Verona, and Empoli. It will be interesting to see if both sides can come together to reach an agreement.

  1. JUVENTUS need Paredes, given the situation in the midfield sector ( POGBA and McKENNIE injured, ARTUR and RAMSEY OUT). Plus, Juventus need to keep FAGIOLI, MIRETTI and possibly ROVELLA.

Juventus need DEPTH in squad, and fierce competition for starting places.
