Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure with Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly coming to an end. RMC Sport has revealed that the capital club has already notified the 50-year-old that he will be sacked, and the firing would cost them nearly €15-million.
The Argentine tactician sees the writing on the wall and seems he’s ready for the next phase of his managerial career. According to The Telegraph, the former manager of Tottenham and Southampton would like to return to the Premier League, where he managed for six years (2013-2019).
Although Pochettino might want a return to England, the job prospects are slim after he was linked to the Manchester United job, but The Red Devils opted to go elsewhere with Erik ten Hag.
Meanwhile, the media floated a return to Tottenham Hotspur, but manager Antonio Conte is remaining with the north London club as they finished in the top four and clinched UEFA Champions League football. As a result, the Argentine might have to wait for an opening.
