Paris Saint-Germain is in the market to improve their backline this summer, and their main target is Inter Milan center-back Milan Škriniar. The 27-year-old has one more year left on his deal, but that isn’t preventing the Serie A club from asking for a significant fee.
According to transfer window specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Ligue 1 champions are preparing a new proposal for Škriniar after the opening bid was turned down. Romano adds that this new bid will be €60 million plus add-ons.
With ongoing discussions between the two parties, the Italian journalist adds that the Serie A side will meet with Torino to sign Gleison Bremer, who appears to be the replacement for Škriniar.
It will be interesting to see if Campos can indeed land the defender he wants for the reported 3-5-2 that the capital club could be playing this upcoming season. The veteran defender could allow them to have a player on par with Marquinhos and slot down Presnel Kimpembe and Sergio Ramos.
