Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly aiming to bolster its backline over the upcoming summer transfer window, and it is now zoning in on the possibility of signing Inter Milan center-back Milan Skriniar.
As noted by RMC Sport‘s Loic Tanzi, Skriniar is a “serious lead” for PSG in the summer window. PSG is aiming to “recruit” for this position in the coming months.
Foot Mercato added that Chelsea is also keeping an eye on Skriniar. The report mentioned that manager Thomas Tuchel views the Italian defender as one of his transfer “priorities.”
Skriniar has been linked with PSG before. Over the 2020 summer transfer window, PSG was keeping tabs on Skriniar’s situation with the Serie A powerhouse.
As was the case over Inter Milan’s Serie A-winning campaign last year, Skriniar emerged as quite a reliable defender for the club this past season. He wound up featuring in 35 matches in Serie A play in the campaign.
As it stands, Skriniar has one more season remaining on his current contract with the reigning Coppa Italia winners.
