Juventus Proposing Below Market Bid for PSG’s €25M Rated Midfielder

Paris Saint-Germain wants to trim down its squad and wage bill this summer to offload players who have no future in the French capital. One player with a market to sell during this transfer window is Leandro Paredes.

Juventus has long been interested in the midfielder, and it seems as though the Italian giants could be preparing a bid to bring him back to Serie A. According to la Repubblica, the Turin-based club is offering €13 million with €2 million in add-ons for the 27-year-old.

However, that proposal from Juventus comes below what PSG wants for Paredes, which is €25 million. The Argentine recently saw his contract automatically extended until 2024, giving the Ligue 1 champions some leverage when negotiating with interested clubs.

Last season, Paredes made 22 appearances for the French giants, scoring one goal and providing two assists. When it comes to his transfer value, Transfermarkt puts it at €17 million, which is closer to what Juventus wants to pay for him.
