Paris Saint-Germain is keen on upgrading their midfield this summer, and it seems as though they’re on the verge of landing FC Porto’s Vitinha. However, the 22-year-old might be joined by a fellow countryman in Lille OSC midfielder Renato Sanches.
In addition, transfer window specialist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Sanches’ relationship with sporting advisor Luis Campos convinced him to accept his proposal. The Italian journalist also states that AC Milan is almost definitively removed from the race to sign the Portuguese midfielder.
Campos would have reconstructed PSG’s midfield in one transfer window adding two players that can take the load off Verratti and lessen the dependence on the Italy international.
Also, the reported fee that’s being paid for Sanches is a steal considering the amount the French giants have been charged in the past once they’re interested in Ligue 1 talent.
