The Kylian Mbappé contract extension saga remains ongoing, with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid staying on pins and needles, awaiting what the 23-year-old will decide regarding his future.
Mbappé was in Madrid on Monday, leading to plenty of speculation, especially from the Spanish media. Mundo Deportivo reports that the France international met with Real Madrid officials for dinner rather than eating with his PSG teammate Achraf Hakimi at a restaurant.
However, the Barcelona-based newspaper’s information is based on eyewitnesses, and there is nothing concrete or visual evidence to back up the claim. Another set of news that Mundo Deportivo adds is that Los Blancos are beginning preparations for the arrival of Mbappé.
Real Madrid is actively printing kits with Mbappé’s name, according to the Spanish outlet. The report says that the La Liga side wants to sell his jersey the day he officially signs his contract as they aim to sell 20,000.
Mbappé’s contract expires next month, and at some point, he will need to announce his decision to allow both clubs to begin their summers with or without him.
