Report: Sporting CP Manager Ruben Amorim Has No Interest in Replacing Pochettino at PSG

Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly coached his final match at Paris Saint-Germain, as soon-to-be club official Luis Campos plans to part ways with the Argentine manager in the coming weeks.

PSG has viewed Sporting CP manager Ruben Amorim as a contender to replace the Argentine manager, but such a move will not come to fruition, as noted by the Portuguese-based outlet Record (via Le10Sport).

Amorim does not want to become the new manager of the reigning Ligue 1 champions. He much prefers to stay put at Sporting CP, which comes after he led the side to a second-place finish in the final Primeira Liga standings this past season.

Amorim is currently under contract at the Portuguese powerhouse for two more seasons. From PSG’s perspective, the search continues on just who will take over for Pochettino and lead the club next season.
