It’s been a week since Angel Di Maria played his last game for Paris Saint-Germain. The 34-year-old is now looking for the next chapter of his, and while there are reports of him heading to Juventus, ESPN reports that the Argentines representatives offered him to another club.
This summer, Di Maria was reportedly offered to Atletico Madrid as a potential free transfer, but the La Liga club has turned down the chance to sign either player.
Di Maria did struggle this past season as he became more of a role player than a regular in the starting eleven following Lionel Messi’s arrival to the French capital last summer.
Atletico Madrid is a club known for rolling the dice on an aging veteran, as they did so with Luis Suarez, and it helped them win La Liga during the 2020-21 season. However, it seems as though they might not welcome the former Real Madrid player back to the Spanish league.
