Kylian Mbappé continues to drag out his decision regarding where he will sign next when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next month. The capital club needs to begin having their backup plans if the 23-year-old decides to leave for Spain.
According to Foot Mercato, football agent Jorge Mendes has discussed with PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the hypothetical transfer of Atletico Madrid forward João Felix to the French giants should Mbappé leave this summer.
Should the France international jump ship, Les Parisiens would need another striker, and Felix is one of the options that the Ligue 1 side could pursue. The 22-year-old has appeared in 35 fixtures for the Spanish club this season, scoring ten goals and recording six assists.
Felix might have more to offer, considering manager Diego Simeone’s tactics aren’t all that kind to attacking players; nonetheless, the Portugal international could begin the long list of players PSG tracks should they have to start life without Mbappé this summer.
