The future of Kylian Mbappé continues to be having everyone on pins and needles. The latest revelation in the saga is that the 23-year-old’s representatives will be meeting with Real Madrid this week.
Nonetheless, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via GuillaumeMP) reports what can occur at the end of this week. The Italian media outlet states that If Mbappé decides to stay at PSG, the France international could announce it before flying to Qatar for its tour on Sunday.
However, should Mbappé elect to depart the French capital, he will announce his decision to leave at the end of the season. At some point, all parties involved want the player to make a decision.
On PSG’s end, they will have to convince their star player that they’re heading in the right direction with their sporting project. Mbappé wants to win the UEFA Champions League, and the capital club has to focus on laying out a squad that can win it and not bring a player because of name recognition.
If the proposal is enough to keep their star player remains to be seen, but they could find out by the end of this week if the report is accurate.
