German Press Confirms Man United, PSG’s Interest in RB Leipzig’s €65M Star

When Christopher Nkunku left Paris Saint-Germain, it was to find more playing time and a more prominent role on a squad. The France international landed with RB Leipzig in 2019 and has since blossomed into a player that can be a focal appoint of an attack.

The 24-year-old has scored 31 goals and recorded 20 assists this season with the German club. These numbers have resulted in various clubs across Europe expressing interest in Nkunku.

According to Bild (via Ronan Murphy), Manchester United and PSG want Nkunku. A move for him would cost both clubs around €75-million, and it appears both clubs are ready to make a push with the summer transfer window opening next month.

The report states that Ralf Rangnick has proposed Nkunku to Manchester United’s management. Furthermore, PSG wants to bring back their former youth product to infuse some youth into their forward group.

With two heavyweights of European football after Nkunku, he will have to choose between heading to the Premier League, arguably the best league in the world, and his hometown club.
